Job summary

Fluence, a global leader in energy storage and software, is seeking a Project Director to lead a team of Project Managers across the Americas. You will oversee strategic planning, EPC execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver complex BESS projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in project management with P&L responsibility, strong leadership, and experience in EPC environments. Travel ~30% to support site activities and customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 12+ years of industry experience.
• 12+ years of project management experience with P&L responsibility.
• 3+ years managing complex EPC projects.
• PMP certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution of multiple complex BESS projects.
• Manage Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams; ensure accountability.
• Oversee EPC project execution and cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor financial performance; manage risks and drive profitability.
• Maintain strong customer and supplier relationships and internal alignment.
• Plan schedules, resources, changes, and deliverables; ensure documentation.
