Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead turnkey EPC battery energy storage projects. You will own P&L and drive delivery across multiple stakeholders in a global team, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance.

The role requires strong communication, engineering background, and 5+ years of managing complex projects with subcontractors, with travel up to 30%. Reporting to the Head of Projects, UK & Ireland, this position operates within a matrix and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, or other technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years P&L responsibility delivering equipment supply or turn-key projects.
• Familiarity with codes & standards for electrical equipment and turn-key energy infra projects.
• Experience managing subcontractor contracts in a matrix organization.
• PM certification (e.g. PMI PgMP, IPMA Level B) is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPC battery energy storage projects with P&L responsibility up to $30M+.
• Deliver projects safely, to code, on time and on budget with ISO 9001 quality emphasis.
• Coordinate with EPC, Equipment Delivery and partners during project delivery.
• Review engineering designs, manage schedules, budgets, and safety/quality plans.
• Resolve technical issues to meet quality, time and cost targets.
• Travel up to 30% and represent Fluence with customers and partners.
