Job summary

Ware Malcomb in Denver seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead innovative design projects from concept through construction services. You will direct internal and external teams, manage budgets, and ensure on‑time delivery with superb client service.

You will oversee schedules, coordinate consultants, and guide junior staff while collaborating with the contracts team to ensure successful project execution. This is a full‑time, long‑term role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the field of Architecture.
• Experience working on retail projects strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• AutoCAD and Revit skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Newforma.
• Thorough knowledge of building codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate phases of the project.
• Prepare the project schedule.
• Discuss the project health with operations leadership.
• Maintain and weekly update the project planner for all phases.
• Issue add services and obtain approvals for new scope.
• Coordinate with the contracts team for contract execution.
• Represent Ware Malcomb at design review meetings when required.
• Assemble consultant team, collect fees, and facilitate contracts.
• Mentor junior project members and assist in proposals.
• Coordinate accounts receivable and invoicing with the accounting team.
