Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Project Architect to lead design development, construction documents, and specifications. You will oversee drawing production and mentor team members on design strategies and delivery methods while ensuring quality control and technical excellence.

As a licensed architect with 10+ years of experience, you will coordinate the full set of contract documents, manage project timelines with the Project Manager, and collaborate with consultants to deliver successful projects.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect with 10+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of building codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to coordinate contract documents end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Produce contract drawings from start to finish.
• Collaborate with Project Manager on schedules and deadlines.
• Resolve clashes in complex project types.
• Provide construction administration including site visits.
• Perform code research for local to federal levels.
• Present projects at jurisdiction reviews.
• Assemble consultant team and manage fees/contracts.
• Coordinate trades for complete drawings and specs.
• Ensure technical quality and QC of drawings.
• Work with Spec Team to create project manuals.
• Review RFIs and submittals for document consistency.
