Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Project Architect to lead design development, construction documents and specifications for diverse projects. You will supervise drawing production, mentor staff, and ensure quality control while applying your architectural license and deep knowledge of codes.

You will work with project managers to plan schedules, resolve clashes, and deliver construction administration services including site visits and shop drawing reviews.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect with strong design and technical skills.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and MS Office.
• Thorough knowledge of building codes and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development and construction documents from start to finish.
• Mentor project team and coordinate design strategies with consultants.
• Oversee production of drawing sets and quality control.
• Manage code research and regulatory analyses for projects.
• Represent firm in meetings and facilitate client and review board presentations.
• Collaborate with project manager to align schedules and deadlines.
