Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Project Architect to lead design development, construction documents, and specifications. You will oversee drawing production, mentor colleagues, and ensure technical quality across projects.

As a licensed architect, your QC and delivery expertise will drive project success. You will collaborate with Project Managers to shape schedules, perform code analyses, and coordinate consultants and client teams to produce complete, permit-ready contract documents for a variety

Qualifications

Architectural licensure is required in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 10 years as a practicing architect.
Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite for documentation.
Thorough knowledge of building codes and standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication and coordination of contract documents.

Responsibilities

Responsible for contract drawings from start to finish.
Collaborate with Project Manager to project schedule and deadlines.
Manage clash resolution for complex project types.
Provide construction administration services including site visits and shop drawing reviews.
Perform local, county, state, and federal code searches and analysis.
Represent Ware Malcomb at design review or development approval meetings.
