Job summary

Torti Gallas + Partners seeks an experienced Project Manager/Project Architect to lead multifamily and retail projects from concept through construction. You will balance design leadership with technical acumen, manage consultants, and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

This hands-on role requires clear communication and strong project management discipline, interacting with clients and guiding technical discussions across all phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 7–15 years of professional architecture experience.
• Experience leading multifamily and mixed-use projects.
• Proficiency in Revit across all project phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead multifamily and retail projects through all phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
• Translate design concepts into technically sound, buildable solutions while maintaining design intent.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants on assigned projects.
• Lead technical discussions with the client and general contractor during all project phases
• Guide project teams through design decisions, technical challenges, and schedule milestones.
• Participate in internal design and QA/QC reviews and uphold firm standards for quality and consistency.
