Job summary

The Project Manager/Project Architect (PM/PA) at Torti Gallas + Partners leads multifamily and retail design from concept through construction, guiding teams, consultants, and clients to ensure design intent, quality, schedule, and budget are met.

They mentor junior staff, coordinate BIM workflows, and manage technical discussions with clients and general contractors, while balancing design leadership with strong project management discipline in a collaborative, principle-based design culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 7–15 years of architecture experience, particularly in multifamily and mixed‑use projects.
• Proven leadership of projects and coordination with consultants.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and construction documentation.
• Experience with podium‑style buildings and retail projects.
• Proficient in Revit and related BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead multifamily and retail projects through all phases, from schematic design to construction administration.
• Translate concepts into buildable solutions while maintaining design intent.
• Serve as primary client and consultant contact; lead technical discussions.
• Oversee BIM workflows and coordination of drawings and specifications.
• Manage consultant coordination across structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and specialty teams.
• Mentor Staff Designers and junior team members; uphold design standards.
