Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Project Leader 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will oversee electrical construction projects, from design through commissioning, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with federal customers and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in electronic security systems, with 5+ years on nationwide government contracts, and strong MS Excel/MS Project/Primavera skills for detailed project control and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, installing, integrating, and testing electronic security systems at scale.
• Minimum 15 years in design/installation of security systems with 5+ years on nationwide federal contracts.
• Proven ability to read contract drawings, subcontracts, and change orders; proficient with scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Overall administration and organization of small electrical construction projects.
• Developing CPM schedules and budget/cost codes; manage cash flow and manpower.
• Lead kick-off meetings and coordinate with customers, owners, and contractors.
• Prepare estimates, submittals, and cost change orders; ensure timely inspections.
• Monitor progress, prepare monthly budget/schedule reports and forecasts.
• Ensure safety regulations and quality standards are followed.
