Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Project Leader 1 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to oversee small electrical construction projects or portions of larger ones.

You will manage project administration, budgeting, schedules, and client communications to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating kick-offs, forecasting cash flow, reading blueprints, and developing cost codes, while upholding safety standards and quality.

Qualifications

• Extensive PM experience supervising construction projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop project documentation and PM duties for construction projects.
• Coordinate and run project kick-off meetings (PKOM).
• Create a resource loaded CPM schedule in Primavera.
• Forecast cash flow and manpower for projects.
• Read blueprints and project specifications.
• Develop budgets and cost codes; assign costs and manpower.
• Prepare estimates for designed projects and finalize design.
• Meet with potential customers to present proposals.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and inspections completed.
