Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Project Leader 2 in the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to lead the design, integration, and sustainment of electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers across the United States.

The role requires deep expertise in electronic security systems, strong leadership, and exceptional Excel and scheduling skills. You will oversee installation, manage regional teams, coordinate with customers and subcontractors, and ensure on-time,

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of experience in design, installation, integration, testing and sustainment of electronic security systems.
• Five+ years managing installation and/or sustainment projects on nationwide/global federal government, industrial or commercial hyperscaler contracts.
• Experience with contract drawings, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders.
• Proficient with CPM scheduling, cost management and AutoCAD.
• Deep expertise in electronic security systems from multiple manufacturers.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills; problem owner/solver.
• Ability to plan and organize activities and maintain attention to detail.
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Experience with MS Project is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and sustainment of electronic security systems at multiple facilities nationwide.
• Establish procedures and controls to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery and meet SLAs.
• Manage project sites or regional sustainment managers and supervisors.
• Interface with customer personnel and address issues.
• Manage subcontractors and oversee their performance.
• Prepare proposals, schedules, and change orders.
• Oversee warranty service for completed installations and repairs.
• Prepare status reports and briefings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters.
