Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Principal Project Manager in New York to lead multi-discipline teams across the full project lifecycle.

You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with clients, and integrate marketing, contractual, design and production efforts to ensure deliverables meet schedule and budget. Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of PM experience, a PE license, and strong leadership, business development and strategic planning capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and PE license (PE/P.Eng).
• 15+ years related experience with at least 7 years in project management.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project; Access experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams through the project's lifecycle.
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently while managing budget and schedule.
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
• Mentor project managers and implement QA/QC procedures.
