Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Tech Specialist 3 in the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial clients worldwide.

The role involves coordinating security system refreshes across geographies, managing risks, and delivering compliant, on-time project results with a focus on access control, biometric authentication, and video surveillance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience in electronic security systems installation/testing.
• Associates degree with 8+ years of experience in related fields.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience or Master’s with 3+ years experience.
• System administrator experience for triage, resolution, data analysis and workstation extensions.

Responsibilities

• Interface regularly with customers, partner teams, stakeholders and technical experts.
• Coordinate security system refresh projects globally across geographies.
• Mitigate project constraints by region (AMER, APAC, EMEA).
• Ensure compliance with regional and local regulations.
• Execute project deliverables with minimal business disruptions.
• Schedule and document meetings with action items.
• Document and schedule project activities with technical details.
• Coordinate logistics of project materials across geographies.
• Track and report project progress through the life of the project.
• On-call for project escalations during installation.
• Create, review and submit completion and commissioning reports.
• Manage risks and communicate with stakeholders.
• Build and manage deployment schedules and budgets.
• Experience with physical security access control and video management systems.
• Proficient with project management tools and office apps.
