Job summary

The Will Group in Wheaton, IL is seeking a Lead Senior Project Manager – Customer Operations & Quotations to lead our Project Management organization and shape how we win, quote, and deliver complex infrastructure projects.

You will mentor Project Managers, oversee the customer lifecycle from opportunity through order fulfillment, and drive quotation strategy with manufacturers and engineers to ensure timely, accurate, and competitive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7+ years infrastructure/project management/quoting/customer operations experience.
• Associate degree with 10+ years infrastructure/project management/quoting/customer operations experience.
• Proven people leadership experience.
• Strong project management and commercial/business acumen.
• Experience in infrastructure, transportation, utility, electrical, construction, or industrial markets preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead People: Manage, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers; set performance standards and priorities; provide training and escalate complex issues.
• Lead Projects & Customers: Oversee the customer lifecycle from opportunity and quotation through order execution; establish standards; monitor health, risks, timelines, and deliverables.
• Lead Quotation Strategy: Oversee complex quotation opportunities; review plans, specifications, drawings, addenda, and contract requirements; partner with manufacturers on pricing and lead times.
• Lead Operational Improvement: Improve order entry and project execution processes; develop SOPs and reporting tools; improve CRM/ERP and project management system utilization; drive efficiency.
