M.C. Dean is seeking a Deputy Project Manager (training position) to learn supervising employees on a project, develop strategic plans and budgets, and analyze data. The role requires a BS in Engineering and 5+ years in construction-related work.

You will engage with owners, contractors, and design professionals on complex electrical and construction projects. Located in Tysons, VA, the company offers a strong benefits package and opportunities to advance in a secure, innovative environment.

Formación

• BS in Engineering (EE or Industry related degree) with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with CPM Scheduling on construction projects.
• Knowledge of design techniques, blueprints and drawings.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills; problem owner/solver.

Responsabilidades

• Run day-to-day operations of a project or sub-section of a project.
• Identify change orders and ensure effective resolution.
• Price, track and manage change orders.
• Plan and monitor cash flow against cash expenses.
• Maintain as‑builts as work is completed; document project issues/conditions.
• Plan and execute project completion and punch list.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals.
• Communicate with external stakeholders about project status.
