Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc seeks a Deputy Project Leader to manage large electrical construction projects, overseeing operations and execution with multi-million-dollar scope. You will coordinate with owners, contractors, and design professionals, ensuring timely decisions, change orders, and accurate estimates.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering and 5+ years in electrical/construction roles, with strong interpersonal and writing skills. Travel to project locations as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (EE or related) with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience on electrical/construction projects from $500k to $10M.
• Ability to read drawings, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs and specs.
• Proven CPM scheduling knowledge and ability to plan and organize.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of a project or sub-section.
• Identify and resolve change orders; price and track them.
• Plan cash flow against expenses and maintain as-builts.
• Read blueprints and discuss issues with stakeholders.
• Develop goals and plans to accomplish work; ensure timely decisions.
