Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a seasoned Project Executive in Virginia to lead large mechanical construction initiatives, overseeing multi-discipline teams and key clients. The role combines operational leadership with strong commercial acumen to drive project performance.

The ideal candidate brings 12+ years in mechanical construction, 5+ years of leadership, and deep knowledge of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems, with proficiency in forecasting and change management.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of construction experience, ideally within mechanical construction.
• At least 5 years of leadership / people management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC, piping and/or plumbing systems.
• Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, change management and commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large project team or oversee multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Act as the primary senior point of contact for clients, general contractors and internal leadership.
• Oversee project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost reports, revenue projections and change orders.
• Provide regular project performance and status updates to senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities for additional work and revenue.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Work closely with estimating, engineering, operations, field leadership and other internal departments.
• Lead, mentor and develop Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and other members of the project team.
