Job summary

KFI Engineers in Louisville, KY seeks a Project Executive to lead Commercial & Healthcare projects from concept to completion. You’ll be a trusted advisor to owners, guiding multi-disciplinary teams and interfacing with clients to ensure their goals are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10–15+ years of hands-on engineering and project management experience in design‑bid‑build, construction, or engineering consulting.
• Robust technical skills and ability to apply engineering and design principles and standards.
• Superior project management skills and operations experience in commercial/institutional environments.
• Construction experience or substantial site exposure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Executive on large projects, guiding PMs and engaging with clients.
• Lead business development: input to proposals, meetings with prospects, scoping opportunities, writing proposals, negotiating contracts.
• Provide technical and engineering excellence with focus on project development and management.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction by clearly communicating and managing expectations.
• Track KPIs, contribute to QA/QC, and monitor project performance.
• Mentor staff and foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Develop understanding of P&L, plan customer visits, and support business development calls.
