Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a capable leader to guide engineering projects from scope to execution. The role emphasizes managing technical issues, coordinating with clients, and supporting the Project Manager on cost and schedule performance.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of engineering and project management experience, strong team leadership, and proficiency in engineering standards and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering and/or PMP registration is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
• Knowledge of the Hargrove project execution procedures.
• Ability to lead a team to deliver on commitments.
• Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Inform the Project Manager of all technical issues, decisions, and problems on the project.
• Coordinate with Client on technical design issues.
• Coordinate with PM, Construction Manager, Procurement Manager, Quality Manager, and Project Controls Lead on execution issues.
• Support PM in managing engineering budgets and schedules, and scope changes.
• Track TIC estimate quantities and changes as the project progresses.
• Develop or facilitate project-specific engineering and design procedures.
• Coordinate engineering input for scope documents and execution plans.
• Ensure timely completion of multi-disciplinary deliverables and design reviews.
