Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Sr. Specialist, Project Engineer for our Missile Solutions segment, based in Canoga Park, CA. The role involves coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to advance propulsion hardware and integration across defense programs.

You will manage technical, cost and schedule elements with EVMS, interfacing with customers and suppliers. Occasional travel and extended hours may be required to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant Engineering experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Engineering experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to execute project objectives.
• Assist in managing technical, cost and schedule elements using Earned Value Management principles.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality and supply chain teams to complete components.
• Brief management and customers on project status and milestones.
• Travel up to 30% to suppliers and production sites as required.
