Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an entry-level Associate, Project Engineer for the Canoga Park, CA area. You will assist in executing propulsion development programs and coordinate with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to ensure component completion.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering and offers exposure to CAD tools, PLM systems, and cross-functional collaboration. Security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 0–2 years of related engineering experience; or 4 years' experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with propulsion components and testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing multiple phases of development or production propulsion programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure component completion.
• Develop specifications, trade studies, design concepts, and test plans.
• Support supplier integration to meet schedule and budget.
