Guy F. Atkinson Construction, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead planning, scheduling and technical work for complex heavy civil projects. The role emphasizes safety culture, proactive coordination with field teams and disciplined execution across the project lifecycle.

You will build strong relationships with craft personnel, inspectors, vendors and the project team, ensuring timely procurement and accurate reporting while adapting to project needs and schedules.

Qualifications

• Requires an undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience on commercial/heavy civil projects.
• Demonstrated self-motivation, accountability, and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, predict and manage technical tasks across project lifecycle.
• Coordinate safety training, attend daily/weekly meetings and inspections.
• Maintain relationships with field personnel, subcontractors and vendors.
• Prioritize tasks, monitor deadlines and procurement lead times.
• Produce accurate budgets, forecasts and reporting; review invoices.
• Support change orders documentation and requisitions.
