Job summary

Guy F. Atkinson Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead a $30M+ heavy-civil construction project on site. You will develop plans, coordinate tasks and resources, and monitor progress against schedule and budget while maintaining safety and quality.

Strong leadership and communication are essential. Qualifications include 8–10 years in engineering and heavy contracting, plus a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of engineering and general contracting experience on $30M to $250M+ complex projects.
• High initiative, independence, personal responsibility, and integrity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal company representative at the project site.
• Create and manage the project plan with tasks, timelines and resources.
• Communicate among stakeholders, manage risk, monitor schedule and budget.
• Champion safety culture; ensure pre-planning to address risks.
• Maintain client relations and ensure timely reporting and forecasting.
• Support estimating, proposal and presentation efforts for new work.
