Zusammenfassung

Austin Commercial is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer for the North Texas Division to lead project execution in commercial construction.

You will manage submittals, RFIs, schedules, and cost control, coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors to keep projects on track. Qualifikationen

• B.S. in construction management/science or engineering or related field.
• 2 years’ work experience in the construction industry.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required (may obtain within first year).
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, and punch-list.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Aufgaben

• Notifies subcontractors of commencement dates; expedites deliveries to avoid delays.
• Assists in detailed estimating of cost and construction time for proposed changes and updates schedules.
• Prepares submittal schedules and coordinates submissions with subcontractors and architects.
• Prepares/oversees reports (material logs, RFIs logs, drawing logs, etc.).
• Assists PM with subcontracts, resolves interpretation/execution issues, proposes alternatives.
• Assists in verification of monthly subcontractor payments.
• Locates suppliers and reviews invoices for materials.
• Responds to RFIs from owners/subcontractors and routes information to field team.
• Assists in compiling close-out documents for owner delivery.
• Participates in jobsite safety per Safety & Health Manual.
• When not on a project, may work in Estimating and value engineering.
