Job summary

Matrix PDM Engineering seeks a Senior Project Engineer I to lead the engineering execution for assigned projects and proposals. The role serves as the primary technical contact with the client and may act as Project Manager on smaller projects, coordinating design input and schedules to meet contract requirements.

Responsibilities include ensuring quality and scope adherence, leading design coordination meetings, and communicating changes and status through management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in engineering discipline required.
• 6+ years leading multiple disciplines on EPC projects and proposals.
• Experience with LNG, ammonia, above-ground storage tanks, bulk storage systems.
• Ability to understand client specifications, procurement, commissioning and startup standards.
• Overtime and travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall execution of engineering for assigned projects and proposals.
• Primary technical contact on the project with the client and may serve as Project Manager on smaller projects.
• Coordinate schedule development and discipline input to stay on plan and support procurement.
• Ensure disciplines stay within scope and sold intent, and coordinate changes and cost/schedule impact.
• Lead or participate in project review meetings and communicate project status.
