Job summary

Matrix PDM Engineering seeks a Project Engineer to oversee the engineering execution for assigned projects, serving as the primary technical contact with clients, and guiding safety-centered design through startup and operation.

You will coordinate with discipline leads, support procurement and document control, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with codes, QA/QC, and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience leading multiple disciplinary EPC projects.
• Heavy industrial experience supporting construction teams for Balance of Plant scopes.
• Ability to interpret client specifications, procurement, commissioning and startup standards.
• Demonstrated QA/QC experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops Engineering Scope of Work and Project Engineering Plan.
• Coordinates scheduling with discipline leads for effective planning and execution.
• Ensures design is within scope and as-sold intent, and supports procurement.
• Coordinates with clients and internal teams to determine design criteria and codes.
• Represents the project in reviews and maintains coordination across disciplines.
