Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and coordinate project planning across multiple programs within the Solid Rocket Motor Engineering Team. You will manage resourcing, staffing, and progress reporting while interfacing with program management and customers.

The role emphasizes delivering on technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost, with occasional on-site and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5–7 years of engineering experience.
• Engineering degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering design evaluations within budget and scheduling restraints.
• Leads IPT and coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, and progress reporting.
• Serves as engineering interface to program management, senior leadership, and the customer community.
• Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; monitors progress and performance against plan.
