Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer – IPTL for a Goleta, CA development program. The IPTL will lead program execution, coordinate with engineering leadership, and drive delivery of systems that meet performance, schedule, and cost objectives.

The role requires proactive collaboration across the program and with customer stakeholders, mentoring team members, and willingness to travel about 10% to support the program.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Program Management and IPT execution within the Defense Industry.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance prior to start; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead program execution in accordance with contractual requirements and ensure subsystem requirements are achieved.
• Maintain and strengthen customer and industry partner relationships in a complex environment.
• Work daily with the engineering team to drive execution and manage priorities.
