Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) is seeking a driven Project Engineer to lead an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for advanced heat exchanger systems in aerospace engines. You will drive program execution, manage schedules and budgets, perform RCCA investigations, and lead cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customers.

You will also develop test plans and proposals while reporting progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience in project management including scheduling, cost estimation, and financial tracking.
• Experience with program execution, risk mitigation, and cross-functional IPT leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide an Integrated Product Team (IPT) ensuring alignment to requirements, milestones, and execution.
• Identify program risks early and drive mitigation to maintain schedule, cost, and technical objectives.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and Earned Value tracking with reporting.
