Job summary

BKF is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Engineer with land development expertise to independently manage civil engineering projects, mentor team members, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely progress and accurate reporting.

You will contribute to design, budgeting, schedules, and client care across residential and commercial subdivisions, water and sewer utilities, and roadway improvements, while navigating complex regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of site development experience including residential/commercial subdivisions, utilities, roadways and public infrastructure.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum or equivalent.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license in Oregon highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project design for site development.
• Grading and stormwater plans.
• Utility systems for water and sewer.
• Report preparation and master planning studies.
• Preparation of specifications and cost estimates.
• Project management assistance: budgeting, schedules, client care, invoicing.
• Design team collaboration and support.
• Roadway design: streetscape, Green Streets, bicycle path plans.
• Knowledge of applicable standards.
• Preparation of specifications and quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
