Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an Industrial Wastewater Treatment (IWT) Process Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of WTR systems. You will monitor performance, analyze trends, prepare reports, and support upgrades and troubleshooting across IWT processes and equipment.

You will own project scope through commissioning/startup, collaborate with O&M and customers, and mentor less experienced engineers in commissioning best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field.
• Working knowledge of water/wastewater operations and treatment processes.
• Safety, environmental and quality mindset.
• Continuous learning and pragmatic problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with O&M teams to drive process improvements.
• Own transfer and treatment system scope, including commissioning.
• Review startup plans across mechanical, electrical, and controls.
• Monitor trends and coordinate with maintenance on work orders.
• Coach junior engineers on commissioning best practices.
