Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an WTR Process Engineer to oversee wastewater treatment and water transfer systems, ensuring safe operations and continuous improvement. You will partner with O&M, technicians, and customers to deliver project upgrades and troubleshoot complex IWT issues.

The role requires a BS in engineering and at least four years of relevant experience, with hands-on knowledge of water treatment processes and robust safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum four years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of biological nutrient removal, ultrafiltration, dewatering, clarification, ion exchange, reverse osmosis or thermal evaporation.
• Safety, environmental and quality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage transfer and/or treatment system scope and projects, including commissioning and startup.
• Review and execute system commissioning/startup plans for mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
• Monitor daily trends, inspect equipment, and coordinate with O&M on work orders and improvements.
• Troubleshoot critical IWT system issues during routine operations and commissioning.
• Support instrumentation, maintenance and operations teams in day-to-day tasks.
