Job summary

Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, seeks a Project Manager/Engineer to own projects from handoff to shipment. You will be the single point of contact for customers, coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, and Production to meet timelines and quality standards.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing project management and engineering, with strong communication and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management and engineering within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and thermal design principles.
• Experience with engineering software and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of quality and compliance standards related to industrial equipment manufacturing.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects once handed off from Sales/Application Engineering team.
• Maintain and manage project documentation across departments.
• Verify and confirm PO technical requirements, specifications, and engineering needs.
• Generate and communicate code calculations, engineering specs, and compliance docs.
• Review and submit approval drawings to customers.
• Conduct project kickoff meetings and coordinate ship dates with Planning, Purchasing, and Production.
• Monitor progress and address technical or scheduling challenges.
• Serve as primary customer liaison for updates and concerns.
• Coordinate final shipping requirements with customers and logistics teams.
