Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Sr. Associate, Project Engineering in West Palm Beach, FL to support airbreathing hypersonic propulsion programs. The role leads multi-discipline teams, manages technical progress and cost, and coordinates with customers, vendors, and PMs.<>

The candidate will provide technical leadership, contribute to proposals, and communicate status to management while traveling up to 10%. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; in lieu of degree, 6 years of related experience accepted.
• Active US Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support engineering teams on airbreathing hypersonic propulsion development.
• Coordinate multi-discipline tasks to meet program requirements.
• Provide technical consultation for management and business development activities.
• Lead proposals to government customers or primes for propulsion programs.
• Deliver written and verbal status reports to AMPT management.
