Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Sr. Associate, Project Engineering at the West Palm Beach, FL campus to lead cross-functional teams in airbreathing hypersonic propulsion program execution from concept to hardware delivery.

The role requires an engineering background, active US Secret Clearance, and the ability to communicate with customers and vendors. Occasional travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; 2+ years experience or 6+ years if no degree.
• Active US Secret Clearance required.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven ability in program execution and technical leadership.
• Experience with air-breathing propulsion systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support engineering teams on airbreathing hypersonic propulsion development.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering tasks to meet program requirements.
• Manage technical progress and cost; interface with PM and customers.
• Provide technical consultation for proposals and briefings to customers.
• Lead technical proposals to government customers or prime contractors.
