Job summary
Clēnera in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead advanced performance analysis and design for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects through development, design, construction, and operation phases.
You'll act as a technical lead, collaborate with senior leaders, and guide model development, IE due diligence, contract reviews, and value engineering while maintaining current industry knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 7 years in electrical engineering or power industry, with 5+ years in PV/energy storage.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn company software.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical due diligence for solar and storage projects across development, design, construction, and operation.
- Provide advanced performance analysis and design guidance to engineering teams and leadership.
- Review IE reports, energy assessments, and assist with contract negotiations and risk assessments.
- Develop technical specifications and lead value engineering and site layout decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
