Job summary

Clēnera seeks an Assistant Project Manager in Boise, ID to independently manage coordination, documentation, and financial tracking on 2–4 solar/storage projects. You will support the Project Manager, identify risks, and drive timely, cost-effective project execution with smooth handoffs to operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field and at least 3 years in large-scale construction. Procore and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in large-scale construction project management.
• Experience in solar and/or energy storage construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction support activities and coordinate with engineering, legal, and permitting teams.
• Manage procurement tracking, submittals, and long-lead items; escalate schedule/cost risks.
• Monitor construction progress and provide mitigation recommendations to the PM.
• Administer RFIs, submittals, change orders, and EPC deliverables.
• Support change management and analyze cost/schedule impacts.
• Oversee financial management: pay applications, invoices, budgets, cost codes.
• Assist in safety, quality control, and inspections; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Serve as communication hub among PM, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Lead closeout: punch lists, turnover docs, final inspections, handoff to operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain project timelines and deliverables.
