Job summary

Rudolph & Sletten, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Senior Field Engineer for the Menlo Park, CA office. The role focuses on field operations, ensuring plans and specifications are followed with quality control, and reporting daily progress and quantities to project leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years in field roles on large commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or four years’ experience in construction management.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in the field on large commercial projects (healthcare, higher education, corporate campuses, justice, science & technology desired).
• Ability to communicate with multiple levels of personnel and manage multiple demands.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of standard concepts, practices and procedures within construction field.
• Interpret designs and drawings for crafts installing materials and qualifications.
• Coordinate with Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure quality and schedule is met.
• Review submittals against specifications and shop drawings for compliance.
• Prepare field design change requisitions and as-built drawings as required.
• Document status, punch lists, material calculations, and field reports for supervisors.
