Clark Bros, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to drive technical coordination, administration, and project controls for heavy civil projects in water, power, and renewable energy sectors.

You will lead project engineering activities, interpret construction plans, manage RFIs and submittals, and ensure work aligns with contract requirements and schedules. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, preferably heavy civil.
• / Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, preferably heavy civil.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent practical construction experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience in project engineering, construction administration, project controls, and technical coordination on major construction projects.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand construction plans, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
• Thorough working knowledge of construction means and methods, construction sequencing, quantity tracking, and field operations.
• Experience preparing and managing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, procurement logs, change orders, and other project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project engineering activities from project startup through completion and final closeout.
• Review construction drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies, constructability concerns, coordination issues, and potential changes in scope.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and Superintendent to ensure project engineering activities support construction schedules, field operations, and overall project objectives.
• Prepare, review, and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, technical documentation, and other required project correspondence.
• Coordinate with the owner's representative, design engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and obtain timely responses to project inquiries.
