Job summary

Clark Bros, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Engineer to drive technical coordination, administration, and project controls for heavy civil construction projects.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and team to ensure projects meet schedule, cost, and quality goals. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to mentor Project Engineers and Administrators while coordinating with design engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers across

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive construction industry experience, preferably in heavy civil.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering/Management or related field.
• Experience in project engineering, controls, and technical coordination on major construction projects.
• Strong ability to read, interpret plans and contracts.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project engineering activities from startup through completion and closeout.
• Review plans/specs to identify discrepancies and constructability concerns.
• Coordinate with PM, Superintendent, and field staff to align engineering with schedules.
• Prepare/change documents: RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and cost estimates.
• Maintain project logs: RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and drawings revisions.
• Provide guidance & mentorship to junior engineers and admins.
