American Electric Power Service Corporation (AEP) is seeking a Project Engineer to lead complex multi‑disciplinary generation projects from concept through commissioning. The role focuses on design, procurement, construction support and coordination with internal teams, consultants, OEMs and EPC contractors at utility scale.
The position supports both new build and retrofit initiatives across gas turbine, solar, wind and energy storage assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Engineering Design Review process and respond to RFIs.
- Coordinate design efforts with internal teams and external partners.
- Provide support during construction and facilitate project closeout activities.
- Travel to AEP generation facilities as needed, including overnight trips.
