Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee all phases of major construction projects at Minot AFB, ND.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors, manage plans, schedules, and budgets, and act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field and a minimum of 10 years of construction PM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years Construction Project Management experience.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE, is preferred.
• Strong background in Project Management with ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to execution and closeout.
• Manage and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet milestones; serve as primary client contact.
• Review contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonability.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Implement quality control to meet specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits; address quality issues.
• Review contractor plans and submittals for approval, including schedules and safety programs.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance and RFIs/REAs.
• Assist with site visits and owner presentations.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to team; oversee contract negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Monitor progress and flag potential delays; inform project team.
