Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to manage federal construction projects at Minot AFB, ND. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, budgeting, coordinating with architects/engineers/contractors, and serving as the main client contact.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 10+ years PM experience, US citizenship, and background checks. PMP preferred; USACE exp is a plus. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years Construction Project Management experience.
• US citizenship and ability to pass background check.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE preferred.
• Strong PM leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to closeout.
• Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors; primary client contact.
• Review contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonability.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Implement quality control measures to meet specifications and standards.
• Conduct inspections and audits to address quality issues.
• Prepare monthly project reports for customers.
• Assist with site visits and present to owner’s representatives.
• Provide mentoring and training to team members; oversee contracts.
• Monitor progress and advise on delays to project team.
• Prepare payment estimates and verify materials on hand.
• Support contract modification documentation and RFP scopes.
• Attend meetings with customers and contractors.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Construction Management/Architecture or related field
