Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Minot AFB, ND seeks a Project Engineer to oversee all construction project phases from planning to closeout.

The role requires coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, at least 10 years of PM experience on federal construction, preferred PMP, and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years Construction Project Management experience.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE, is preferred.
• Strong background in Project Management with ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are required.
• Strong technical competencies to create presentation materials and deliver presentations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to execution and closeout.
• Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet milestones and communicate progress to clients.
• Review contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonability.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Implement quality control to meet specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to address quality issues.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance, REAs, RFIs, and technical issues.
• Assist with site visits and owner presentations.
• Mentor team members; oversee contracts negotiations, administration, and disputes.
• Monitor scheduled progress and advise on potential delays.
• Prepare partial and final payment estimates with quantities and percent complete.
• Produce monthly project reports for customers.
• Assist in contract modification processes and RFP scopes.
• Attend meetings with customers and contractors.
