Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee all phases of construction projects from planning to closeout at Minot AFB.

You’ll coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to meet milestones, manage plans, schedules and budgets, and communicate progress to stakeholders. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Construction Management/Architecture, has 10 years of PM experience, and PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years Construction Project Management experience.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of construction projects from planning to execution and closeout.
• Managing and overseeing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet milestones and serving as primary point of contact for clients.
• Reviewing contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonability.
• Identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Implementing QC measures to ensure work meets specifications and standards.
• Conducting inspections and audits to address quality issues.
• Preparing correspondence on contractor performance, RFIs, REAs, and other issues.
• Assisting with site visits and presenting to owner’s representatives.
• Providing guidance and training to team members; overseeing contract negotiations and dispute resolution.
