Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Engineer for a federal project active at F.E. Warren AFB (Cheyenne, WY).

The role serves as technical expert for structural systems and coordinates design, inspection and contract activities on large government construction programs. Candidates must be a US citizen, pass a federal background review and drug screen, and hold a Wyoming PE license with 10+ years in federal structural projects (USACE/DoD preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Structural Engineering.
• Current Professional Engineer license in Wyoming.
• 10+ years as structural engineer on federal construction projects (USACE/DoD preferred).
• Experience with RF Shield and ICD 705 construction requirements.
• Knowledge of HEMP design and construction requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for control of structural systems on federal projects.
• Perform advisory, consulting and review duties regarding structural issues.
• Review contract documents during design for constructability and clarity.
• Assist in scopes of work, government estimates, and contract modification docs.
• Assist with inspections, QA, contract administration, and technical support.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance, RFIs and REAs.
• Prepare partial and final payment estimates and verify material quantities.
• Review RFIs, submittals and interface with designers and experts.
