Job summary
Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to serve as a technical expert for structural systems on federal construction projects at F.E. Warren AFB (Cheyenne, WY).
The role involves advisory duties, contract review, and participation in all project phases. The candidate will review documents for constructability and compliance, assist with scopes of work and estimates, and provide QA, inspection support, and technical coordination with Designers of
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Structural Engineering.
- Current Professional Engineer license within the State of Wyoming.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as structural engineer on federal construction projects.
- Experience with RF Shielding and ICD 705 construction requirements.
- Knowledge of High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) design and construction.
Responsibilities
- Serves as technical expert and advisor for control of structural systems on federal projects.
- Reviews contract documents for constructability and compliance.
- Assists in preparation of scopes of work, government estimates, and contract modifications.
- Participates in project inspections, QA, and contract administration.
- Reviews contractor plans and submittals, and prepares technical comments.
