Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Structural.
- Current Wyoming Professional Engineer license.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as structural engineer on large federal projects.
- Experience with RF Shield and ICD 705 construction requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serves as technical expert for control of structural systems on federal projects.
- Reviews plans for constructability, non-compliance, and contract clarity.
- Assists in government estimates, RFP scopes, and contract modification documentation.
- Supports inspections, quality assurance, and contract administration.
- Reviews contractor plans and submittals; provides comments and technical answers.
- Prepares RFI/REA responses and pay item quantity verifications.
- Monitors project progress and advises the team to avoid slippage.
- Interacts with Designers of Record for technical changes.
