Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Engineer for Cheyenne, WY. You will serve as technical expert for structural systems on federal construction projects and support contract modification and QA processes.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Engineering, Wyoming PE license, 10+ years of structural experience on large federal programs, and familiarity with RF Shield, ICD 705, and HEMP design requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required, structural engineering preferred.
• Wyoming Professional Engineer license required.
• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience on large federal projects (USACE or DoD preferred).
• Experience with RF Shield and ICD 705 construction requirements; HEMP design knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as technical expert and advisor for control of structural systems on federal construction projects.
• Reviews contract documents for constructability, non-compliance, and contract clarity.
• Assists in scopes of work for RFPs, government estimates, and contract modification documentation.
• Supports inspections, QA, contract administration, and provides technical expertise.
• Documents reviews of contractor plans and submittals and issues comments.
• Prepares correspondence on contractor performance, RFIs, and REAs; prepares payment estimates.
• Coordinates with Designer of Record for technical changes and interface.
