Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a site at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, WY.

The role requires US citizenship and a federal background check with drug screen. You will guide structural systems on federal projects, review contract documents for constructability, and assist with contract modifications. A Wyoming PE license and a minimum of 10 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• Current Professional Engineer license within the State of Wyoming.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as structural engineer on large complex federal construction projects (USACE/DoD) is preferred, RF Shield/ICD 705 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serves as technical expert for control of structural systems for federal construction projects.
• Performs advisory, consulting and review duties related to structural systems problems or non-compliance.
• Reviews contract documents during design for constructability and contract clarity.
• Assists in RFP scopes, government estimates, and contract modification documentation.
• Assists with inspections, QA, contract administration and providing technical expertise.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval and provides comments.
• Prepares correspondence on contractor performance, RFIs, REAs and other technical issues.
• Prepares payment estimates and verifies quantities and completion percentages.
• Reviews HEMP Shielding, RF Shield and ICD 705 construction requirements; interfaces with Designer of Record.
• Monitors progress and advises project team of delays; coordinates with designers and RE on RFIs and submittals.
